In Test Mode, we created four independent monthly subscriptions through hosted checkout: fixed discount for 3 months, percentage discount for 3 months, fixed discount forever, and an undiscounted control. All three discounted subscriptions received the discount on the initial order, but their first actual renewal was charged at full price with no discount. The undiscounted control renewed correctly at full price.
The renewal events and invoice persistence completed successfully in our webhook endpoint, so the issue appears to be discount inheritance from checkout to the subscription renewal. This conflicts with the documentation that says repeating and forever discounts apply to subscription payments.
