While your platform supports over 200 countries via PayPal payouts, this workaround is not viable for us. PayPal accounts in the Maldives are restricted—users can send money but are blocked from receiving funds or withdrawing to local bank accounts.The Maldives has a rapidly growing ecosystem of digital entrepreneurs and tech startups who desperately need a reliable MoR to handle global tax compliance, software licensing, and subscription billing. Without direct bank payouts to local institutions (like Bank of Maldives or Maldives Islamic Bank), we are entirely locked out of your platform.Now that Lemon Squeezy is backed by Stripe’s global financial infrastructure, we are hopeful that expanding direct bank payouts to the Maldives is more feasible than ever.
