Automated Email Delivery of Payout Receipts

Summary

Add functionality to automatically send payout receipts via email when payouts are processed in Lemon Squeezy.

Problem Statement

Currently, users need to manually generate and download payout receipts from the dashboard for their bookkeeping records. This manual process is:

• Time-consuming
• Prone to oversight
• Creates extra administrative work
• Makes it difficult to maintain organized financial records

Proposed Solution

Implement an automated email system that:

1. Generates a PDF receipt when a payout is processed
2. Automatically sends the receipt to the user’s registered email address
3. Includes relevant payout details in the email body

Additional Context

The current UI shows options to “Generate receipt”, “Generate invoice”, and “Download breakdown” which could be enhanced with this automated email delivery system.

I assume Felix is talking about the same but it should be an invoice instead of receipt. Please do it!
