Yes. Definitely I would love to use a full functional smartphone app. But for a quick, early release, sale alert should be fine.

Even if the mobile app will not be released immediately, I think the responsive view needs to be improved a little more. It wouldn’t be bad if PWA support was also added for mobile users.

I’m working on notifications and widgets for iOS at the moment. You need to generate an API key to setup the app and once you enable notifications, it will generate a webhook URL+secret you can enter in your store settings and after that you will receive notifications. I asked @Orman Clark on twitter for permission to release this app, hopefully it will be fine. I’m doing some small bugfixes, but i can submit it later this week to the App Store. I don’t know Android development, so only iOS.
